Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I picked up my first camera in 2007 and my life has not been the same since. My goal is to bring back & share with you the beauty I see all around me both in nature, and in everyday life in the city.
I currently live near Seattle, Washington and consider myself fortunate to have so many breathtaking locations to photograph within just 400 square miles. In the Pacific Northwest you can witness the sunrise in the mountains, spend the afternoon having lunch in forests full of rushing waterfalls and be sitting next to a bondfire on the beach before the sun even begins to set. There is no place I rather be.
My work can be seen in print in various publications including Outdoor Photographer & DigiPhotoPro magazine and my images have been licensed for professional use by businesses in the US and around the world including Travel Oregon, the US Postal Service, The Portland Japanese Garden, Where GuestBook, Intel and many more. If you are interested in licencing some of my work please contact me directly or visit my collection on Getty Images.
I offer group workshops throughout the year in various Oregon & Washington locations and also offer private group, or 1 on 1 workshops as well. Exposure Northwest & Aaron Reed Photography is proud to be sponsored & supported by LEE Filters, Nik Software, Think Tank Photo, Tiffen Filters and other smaller photography businesses. Discounts are offered to our workshop participants.
