Hello everyone, my name is Robert Baggs and I am obsessive. It's probably best to get that out of the way early. It is almost definitely why I succeed at achieving goals I set myself. I, like many of the myriad photographers claiming their unique brilliance around the world, strive to be different. That is to say, you're not going to find high-key portraits of a girl walking through a field towards the sun, looking over her left shoulder at the camera through a tunnel of lens flare; not here I'm afraid. Neither will you find a macro shot of a wedding ring resting delicately on a miscellaneous book with the light cast in such a way that the shadow forms a romantic heart shape; sorry about that. In the creation of my art in particular I aim for the evocative and strive for the thought-provoking. In the different direction of events and weddings I use my artistic streak in conjunction with my knowledge of composition and camera settings to achieve appealing and memorable results whilst avoiding the aforementioned photographical clichés. As for less creative corporate work, I fit what ever criteria are set and exceed them where permitted. If you have read all of the above firstly allow me to congratulate you on your meticulous and patient nature with regards to researching and/or selecting a photographer. If you are reading this last mini paragraph hoping for a summary, you’re in luck. I am obsessive and want every detail perfect. I am stringently punctual in both person and in replying to emails or sending requested images to clients. I am faster than Usain Bolt but can never show anyone and finally, I am honest.
