I am a professional photographer based in New Westminster, British Columbia. In the spring and summer months my work takes me across Canada photographing private gardens for Cornwall Publishing the rest of the year is spent photographing nature. Throughout my career my images have been used in many applications from magazines to advertising around the globe. A big part of my life has been spending time in the outdoors and nature photography is my excuse to get out into the wilds as much as possible. Nature photography as well as garden photography have taken me to some remarkable locations. My main focus in nature photography has varied over the years but I do tend to be drawn to contrasts in colour and more intimate views within grander landscapes. I thoroughly enjoy finding scenes of simplicity but also like the challenge of putting together more complex compositions.
