With a clean and stylish look John's pictures undoubtedly find their roots in his Scandinavian upbringing. He masters the art of high-key photography leaving nothing in the picture but what's important. A unique cropping style further enhances the result.

John finds beauty in both still life, animals and people. And lots of it. John says "I tend not to pose people unless it's for a particular purpose such as a corporate portrait. I love movement and strong expressions in a photo, and I attribute much of my success in photography to the fact that I let people be themselves.”

John prefers to shoot in the studio, where the environment can be controlled, but he adds: “I don't like the feeling of confinement myself, and years of experience have shown me that my best shots are the ‘free-ranging’ style". John continues: "I love children's faces because they are constantly changing and because they are a direct reflection of their feelings".

John’s work have brought him several corporate clients. Among those Adobe Systems, Venture Corporation, Coldwell-Banker, Ericsson Inc., and Tracy Matthews Designs. He’s been trained by some of the best photographers in the industry such as Nick Saglimbeni, Greg Gorman, Marc Hauser. John has had work published in magazines and newspapers and is a Certified Adobe Photoshop Expert.
