I am an amateur photographer who, along with my husband (also on 500px) enjoys photographing the great outdoors, wildlife, historical sites, and architecture. I began to actively pursue photography in the autumn of 2010 with a point and shoot camera. I recently got my first DSLR camera and I have been enjoying learning how to use it. I am mostly self-taught, and continually learning. Along the way, I have entered several photo contests, and won in several categories. Seven of my photographs have been published, and another has been awarded and showcased on capturewisconsin.com.
