I am a landscape and nature photographer originally from Red Wing, MN where I grew up, and then joined the United States Navy after finding out that college wasn't my cup of tea. I am now in my 15th year in the Navy as a Sonar Technician 1st Class, and have served on board 4 fast attack submarines. I took photography back up during my last shore tour, and went digital, although I still occasionally shoot a roll of film. I discovered a great photography forum where I am very active, and have found countless ways to improve my technique.
