hi! i am a lighting designer and a free-lance photographer based in new delhi, india. for me, lighting design & photography carry the same fundamental; ‘painting with light’. photography is a great medium for me to capture and showcase my perspective. i got my hands on a camera very young and studied photography as a subject during school. however, i have been doing serious photography with a dslr since the mid of 2011. i love to shoot macros, florals, still life, landscapes, concept shots, architecture and most definitely my lighting projects! i also prefer shooting isolated subjects and controlling the environment with light diffusers, reflectors, continuous light sources, flashes etc. i hope you like my work! for any queries, comments or suggestions, please feel free to write to me. cheers! ankur
