Annapurna Moffatt is a photographer living on St. David Ridge, in southwest New Brunswick. She is currently majoring in photography at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton, where she has been exploring, and experimenting with urban photography.

Through the years she completed courses in many different media. Much inspiration was found at Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre in St. Andrews, NB, on the shores of the Passamaquoddy Bay, and in the work of other dedicated artists. In 2003, when she received her first digital camera, she began photographing seriously. In 2008 she attended a Freeman Patterson/André Gallant workshop. It was at that time that she began to see the wealth of creative possibilities in photography, and began to look beyond the literal image.
