30-something year old that doesn't like wearing socks, has too many pets, and spends too much time in front of a computer and not enough time out doors having fun. Enjoys photography, discovering new gluten-free vegetarian recipes, exploring out door spaces, harassing her husband, and, on very rare occasions, being a bit of a dork.

I'm an engineer by profession and find photography's combination of the technical and the artistic to be a great creative outlet for me. I first became interested in becoming more serious with photography in 2005 when planning a visit to Alaska. I figured it would be a once in a life time trip and I wanted to document it all! It wasn't until autumn of 2007 that I would purchase my first DSLR. I'm still learning when it comes to photography and enjoy getting out to new locations, shooting new subject types, and trying new techniques.
