The night of the inauguration of the Burj Khalifa was an unforgettable day. Me and another friend of mine (who was visiting Dubai at that time) were lucky to get the best seats in the house that day, by sneaking pass the doorman to get access to the rooftop of the Souk Al Bahar. Having said that, we didn’t know what the consequences would be for doing so.

Anyways, by the time we got access to the exclusive rooftop right before sunset, I was blessed to witness the most amazing views from that perspective. One of the shots is the one you see below. I bet any photographer would die to get this perspective with the crystal clear blue water in the foreground coupled with the evening sunset.

After spending an hour on the top, we heard someone come up the ladder we came up from and it turned out to be one of the Special Services men of Sheikh Muhammad, The Ruler of Dubai. We knew were busted. LOL
