Ben Jackson is a 17 year old from the Mid North Coast of NSW who has a passion for surf photography. He grew up and still resides from a small coastal town, Urunga. At the age of 3 he was introduced to the ocean by his parents and ever since has admired it. By age 11 he was travelling to the beach every weekend and enjoying the salt with his friends and family. Once Ben hit his teen years he was given a camera for Christmas. Not only did he enjoy taking photos of himself for Myspace, he also found a passion for taking photos of the ocean and his coastal surroundings. A few years down the track and Ben is still taking photos although now becoming very serious about his hobby. This happened about 18 months ago. Ben bought his first SLR and proper surf photography equipment. Since then he has had his photos published in various bodyboarding magazines in Australia and overseas In the coming years Ben hopes to travel all over Australia and hopefully the world to experience everything he possibly can.
