I am a New Zealand landscape photographer based in the far south of the South Island. My photography is heavily influenced by the natural environments I like going away to. I love to capture most photos during the vivid colours of sunrises and sunsets when the light is at it’s best. New Zealand offers endless photographic opportunities with plenty of outstanding locations from stunning glaciers, beautiful fiords, mountainous terrain, widespread plains, native forest, volcanic plateau, and miles of wild coastline. I’m currently shooting with the Canon EOS-1D Mk IV. My two primary landscape lenses are the EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM & EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L USM. For zoom I use a Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM. I also use a range of Lee GND filters to help balance exposure levels. Post processing is done in Adobe Lightroom where contrast, highlights and vibrancy are adjusted to suit and from there I use Photoshop to finalise images for web and print.
