My interest in photography first began in 2009 when my friend convinced me to go out and purchase my first DSLR to take photos of us longboarding and at swim meets. This ended up sparking my interest in photography. My first DSLR was a Sony Alpha, which I have upgraded to a Canon 50D to have more speed and am now able to shoot faster sports. I have been influenced on how I shoot sports, spot news, and features to my Photojournalism Professor Fred Thornhill, when I attended Seneca College's Independent Digital Photography program.
