I started photography in 2011 with a Canon 550d and kit lens. In the beginning I was allround photographer who had yet to discover everything. Months I read about aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings.
After about 6 months, it became clear that 75% of my pictures were landscapes ...
Then I thought for a long time what material I could best buy for me to specialize. I doubted (high price tag) but i bouhgt a full frame Canon 5d Mark II with a 17-40mm wide angle lens.
To this day I haven't complained to me less than a second!
Again, I read months about techniques, exposure, shutter speed and way of working in landscape photography.
I searched on Google Earth interesting places, looked where & when it was sunrise or sunset. I outlined everything to perfection, and nothing is more fun as a preparation to realization occurs in practice.
Meanwhile I bought me a good tripod to, filters, remote control, etc ...
The combination of the preparation, execution and posting your photos fascinate me tremendously.
Like I'm working with software, develop pictures in Lightroom and Photoshop, publish it on my website and Facebook.
Combination of all this, I found my hobby and I am sure a lot of fun to experienced.
I live in West Flanders, not so very far from the coast, which is my favorite location for shooting pictures. Especially dramatic storm clouds and skies fascinate me greatly.
I respect the other branches of photography but personally i go for the landscapes!.
Have fun visiting my website and feel free to contact me with any questions / comments or whatever.
