Welcome! Thanks for checking out my 500px collection of images. I have had a genuine passion for photography for almost as long as I can remember. I love to shoot nature and landscape images ( see my Stock and Fine Art Prints Gallery from my website: cu-photovideo.com). I approach my nature and landscape photography with the mind, heart and passion of an artist. Shooting exclusively Raw images, I take great care in post - shoot processing on the computer to bring out all of the colors, tones, and values that will accurately translate visually into what I saw or visualized when I took the shot. I may decide to add a textural layer or vignette or blur the edges of an image if I think it will enhance the visual impact of the finished work. When I am out with my camera shooting my goal is to compose and create artful, visually powerful images that I would want to hang on my own walls in my home. Born in 1952 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, I currently live and work in the Austin, Texas area. As far as formal training goes, although I do have a graduation certificate from the New York Institute of Photography, most of my constantly evolving knowledge of photography has come from other Pro Photographers - either through in person workshops, or online through many of the various user groups, tutorials, and social network sites.
