Photography is something I do because it allows me to share my vision of the world with others. I am a very quiet and reserved person in general, but through my photography I hope to explain to you how I see things. I want to share with you my passion for nature and the environment we live in.
A topic that often comes up when discussing photography is a difficult question: who among us is a photographer, and who just takes pictures? In my view, a photographer is someone who makes images as a form of expression, where a picture taker is someone who takes pictures to simply capture a memory. When you start to pour yourself into choosing lighting, subject, composition and finally work in the digital darkroom something special starts to happen. The lens on your camera begins to point in both directions. That is, you are not only taking a picture of the subject, but in a sense it is also a self portrait.
