Years ago, I picked up my first SLR camera and was amazed at how fun it was to shoot with. I started out with a Canon AE-1 film camera and fell in love with capturing photos. My dad had used the camera when we were kids but had put it down for a while. I loaded some film and began snapping away. I started out shooting all types of subjects and landscapes. When I picked up a book by Scott Kelby I was intrigued by studio lighting. Soon I had some equipment and began shooting in my house. I love studio work because I can take light and make it transform a subject. I also enjoy landscapes and look forward to traveling so I can add to my portfolio. I may be a little different than other photographers in a sense that I like being behind the computer as well. With Photoshop, Lightroom, Nik, and all the other software I have lots of fun retouching and being creative.
