Growing up in the state of Michigan has provided me with a love for its beauty and a great appreciation for the outdoors. Many of my fondest memories involve small boats on inland lakes, camping in the woods, and sunsets over Lake Michigan beaches. Woodland, lakes, and beaches. In Michigan you’re never far from any of these. Each of these providing subtle to stunning beauty for the observant viewer. My passion for photography has led me to spend countless hours working to capture those scenes that show my appreciation for the beauty that Michigan has to offer. There are moments in our lives where we view a sunset over a quiet lake or a lighthouse shining like a star in the night, guiding sailors to safety. We take in these scenes and wish these moments would last forever. As we all know, those moments are fleeting. My goal is to capture those moments as best I can, for no two scenes are ever the same. It’s my pursuit of those moments that keep me going. Sometimes succeeding and sometimes not. I am a Getty Images artist as well as selling images on several stock photography sites. However, my main focus is landscape photography which I sell on my website, as well as tourist shops through-out the state of Michigan. Prints, canvases and more can be found on my personal website.
