A few years ago I found myself disappointed with the quality of the photographs from a holiday my girlfriend and I had taken in Hawaii, and upgraded from a tiny compact camera to the Canon EOS 450D... and then spent the next few years failing to learn how to use the DSLR, and shooting uninspiring shots using the automatic modes.
In the last six months, in anticipation of spending three weeks travelling around Italy in September this year, I decided that the time had come to learn how to take better photographs and started scouring the web for tips. In short, I became hooked.
I've only recently started producing shots that I'm pleased with, and that I wanted to show to other people... and here you are. Please feel welcome to leave comments, and I hope that you get as much pleasure from viewing these images as I got from taking them.
