I became interested in photography in 2008. While taking a few summer courses at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, my friend randomly asked me if I wanted to rent a camera and take some pictures with her. I ended up accepting the offer and went out to take pictures of her the next Day. Not only did it feel good snapping shots of our day, but it also felt good seeing her reaction on how well they turned out. I ended up purchasing a camera in March 2012 (which was a few years later, after teaching myself a lot more about photography) and decided to make a business out of it.
I’ve always been a huge fan of photography. I believe that photography is not just taking a picture, but capturing the very essence of life, and being able to express the intensity of emotions through whatever subject you are taking pictures of, whether its animate or inanimate. Photography is my way of not only capturing those awesome moments that you never want to forget, but also giving you a wider sense that the world truly is a beautiful place…sometimes we just over-look things…
My goal with photography is not to be famous, or to make millions, but to create art that will be talked about for generations. I plan on doing commercial work for major publications, shooting at major events, and well...just traveling the world to capture some beautiful pictures of everyday life.
