Hi there, I live in Queenstown, South Australia. I have been interested in photography for about the last 12 years or so. I have slowly improved over time I hope. From my beginnings of owning a point and shot Canon, then a Canon 400D and just recently have progressed to a Canon 60D. I am still very much a learner with the 60D. My main interest is nature, predominantly birds but virtually any creature that moves. That includes the micro world. I have purchased some equipment to help in the macro area but it is such a challenge that it is taking me a while to get to the stage where I am confident enough to show my work to others but I will within time and after many hours of practice. I believe with photography one is always learning it is such an enjoyable, challenging, however, in my case, expensive hobby. I also believe that without doubt that being part of this community will help improve my skills. There are so many talented people out there. I will always take the time to view anyone's images when they have taken the time to call by and visit mine. I love looking at others photos and do so randomly, it is my way of helping to learn, if an image captures my attention I can't help but look.
