Milagro means miracle in Spanish. I've given this name to my photography practice to celebrate all the wonders revealed through my lens - from the inner beauty of people and the grandeur of landscapes to the finest details of things I see every day. I started taking pictures as part of a journalism program at university years ago, covering events, doing street photography, and gaining valuable experience in the darkroom. Fast forward 30+ years and I still love wandering around with a camera in hand. I have a special passion for street and outdoor photography where natural light and everyday situations abound, but over the past two years I have been building a business around portrait photography.
