Elizabeth Wilson-Stephens (known as Lib) was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in 1984. From an early age she showed an interest in all aspects of art and design. Every spare minute was spent drawing, painting, writing, creating craft items, and later on, taking photographs.
Her interest in photography was furthered whilst at Yorkshire Coast College Scarborough studying a BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Here she learnt the basics of black and white photography and darkroom techniques, which solidified her love for the subject. This led her on to study a BA(Hons) Photography with Fine Art degree at Cleveland College of Art and Design in Middlesbrough.
She has a wide knowledge of all aspects of photography, both film and digital, hand and digital printing, studio and on location shoots.
Her main photographic style lies in the landscape, urbanscape, street photography, documentary and abstract genres of the medium. She also has an interest in digital art and manipulated photography.
