I first picked up a camera back in the early 80's when a Pentax ME Super was a very decent camera to own. Although it got a lot of use by the 90's my interest in photography disappeared and the camera gear was stowed away in the loft. With the beginning of the digital age the interest was resurrected, so starting off with a compact digital camera from Olympus my photography grew and grew. When the first affordable DSLR was released by Nikon I snapped it up and now I am never without the camera wherever I go. My main interest is in landscape photography and living just off Dartmoor and near the south coast of Devon I get to have a lot of opportunities to go out and pursue my interest.
