Born in Vienna, 1970. I started to take photos at the age of 12. My first camera was a Praktica MTL5 and a 50mm. I prefered to use Ilford FP4 (iso 125). Then I changed to Minolta Dynax (7000i & 8000i). Since that time I love Minolta objectives (at most my 50mm F/1.4) which I, thanx to Sony, now use with the Alpha series. I love to shoot portraits. In post processing i slightly over sharpen them so that it's possible to see even the smallest hairs or crinkles. Sometimes that's difficult for my models because they will look older than they really are. But i find it very interessting to see the character of the face which has been "built" over the years....
