I grew up collecting tadpoles and swinging on vines in the lush foothills of upstate New York. So when I received a pink 110 automatic for my ninth birthday, I knew exactly what I wanted to use as my subject.
Mother Nature.
Fast forward more than 20 years, a few more home states, and several cameras later and I’m still captivated by the magic of my natural surroundings. Only now I compose images with a greater appreciation of the environment and a newfound POV shaped by chronic illness.
