Hong Kong in Earth Hour

The night view in Hong Kong is famous in the world. But behind the famous, the light pollution is very serious. Yesterday (23-March, 2013) - the earth day, many major building in Hong Kong have joined this event and turn their light "off" for a hour.

So, let us see how Hong Kong night look when the major building turn their light off. I will show 2 pics which using same exposure setting to show the different.

After this hour, we should re-think about that "are these lighting is necessary?" Let the photo speak the true!
