J.J. Taylor was born a child of the 60's in the Garden State of New Jersey. Raised by his grandparents and a single mother, he was blessed with a strong faith in God and connection with family. After attending colleges in both the state of Delaware and Louisiana, J.J. has lived in Florida with his wife, children, and grandchildren for over twenty years. He works as an Electronic Services Supervisor for a Fortune 500 company. A photography class in high school provided him with some basics, but it was not until early 2007 that a passion for natural and authentic portraiture began stirring inside him. While photographing family and friends he discovered an excitement in making connections with people via the photographic medium… especially in black and white. J.J. believes that natural light and natural environments = natural expressions!
