Jim Remington, Photographer & Patriot. I'm a Naval Officer by day and photographer by night. I've had the photographic itch for years and went through one strong spurt after buying my first 35mm camera (a Minolta Dynax 505si) in Sarajevo at the British Military Exchange, and then again more recently in 2010 when I finally made the jump into the digital SLR world with my Canon Rebel T2i. Since then I've really been at it and have taken up the interest in studio shooting and lighting which is a whole new world. I'm still a strong hobbyist, but beginning to take the turn to professional hired work. I look forward to reviewing others' work on here and getting some feedback on mine.
