In my teenage years I started my romance with photography while living in Poland. What was just a hobby at the beginning, slowly developed into my rewarding career.
Throughout the years, I worked in many areas of photography from technical dark rooms to journalism, and from scenic photography to portraits and weddings. Much of my experience is international. I am pleased to showcase my work from Europe, South America, Hawaii, Canada, and even further.
After years of owning a successful photography studio company, I started working for the National Defence in Ottawa, Canada as a Photo Editor for the Combat Camera Team. My role there was to be a bridge between the Canadian military photographers accompanying Canadian soldiers overseas and the media. I administered Combat Camera photo archives online; if you are interested in seeing what our soldiers are doing in many different parts of the world visit the site: www.combartcamera.forces.gc.ca
I still work as a freelance photographer and portrait photographer through many referrals in the Ottawa area and sometimes internationally. www.uniprophoto.com
Since 2008 I have been working with the Royal Canadian Navy, as an image coordinator, cinematographer, film producer and photographer. This work is often exhilarating and provides me with incredible opportunities for film and photography. For examples of my film work go to vimeo.com/thenavylamarine/videos
