I'm a stay at home Mom to my five year old daughter. English born and bred, I moved from Ireland to the US in 2004. I'm a self taught photographer (not hard to tell). I learn by experimenting and looking at the wonderful photography of others. The Rebel is my first D-SLR. I took the plunge into manual mode in December 2010 and have not looked back. I like photographing bugs and flowers - my husband doesn't get it at all but that's just what interests me most :-) I got my very first macro lens in July 2011 and continue to be fascinated by the world it reveals. My favorite thing to do is sling on my hiking boots, grab my camera and just head out to see what I can find. No tripod and no plan - I like the excitement of never knowing what the day will bring.
