My name is Jean-Noel Nicolas. I was born on the island of Mauritius on the 1st October 1965. Photography has always been just a hobby in my young days. Over time this has grown into an ardent passion upon which I could always fall on to in times of trouble as some would so kindly put it. I consider acquiring still images as an endless form of art whereby if one would be in the process of writing a novel, the mere presence of an image would enhance the writer's passion and emotions. I do believe indeed that a picture stands for a thousand words as a wise Chinese gent once said or, if I may say so the embodiment of a special moment in the life of one's quest to wisdom.
