I've only recently starting dabbling in photography within the last year or so, and am picking up new techniques here and there while I travel Asia. Photography has really led me to explore my surroundings more, view situations more artistically possibly even gave me a new respect for the simple things that we see or do every day - seeing couples walking down the street, a kid riding a bicycle, someone hailing a cab - when you capture that moment in a picture you're appreciating a second in time that no one else will ever be able to. No one will ever see that same scene unfold the same way again, but you caught it, and now you can put it behind glass for the whole world to see.
