My name is Jon Goings and I am a freelance photographer, my specialty being portraiture. Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, I now call Otterburne my home. Enrolled at Providence University College, I am completing my advanced degree in Communications, Media and Sociology. This faith-based journey is shaping how I view and interact with society as a member. Passionate for God and fascinated by the great unknown, my work is grounded in the belief that all things are inherently beautiful. My imaginative childhood was fuelled by basement nostalgia, such as my father's long forgotten Viewmaster set and mother's vinyl collection. My perspective has become primarily that of a dreamer. As a registered member of the WpgPhoto community, local involvement provides me with countless opportunities in this field. Providence benefits from my regular contributions to the Yearbook, Athletics and Marketing departments. Fortunately, my work has been featured in the all-positive publication Lionface: The Sentient, which strived to help people know better, feel better and live better. This is my desire for you as well. I invite you to see as I see.
