Since the late nineties Groningen based photographer Klaas van der Laan (born 16 July, 1975) has been documenting Dutch skateboard culture from the inside. More recently, his focus has shifted to pin-up photography and portraits. His distinct style has been described by some as bordering on the surreal. Over the years his work has appeared in many internationally renowned online and offline publications.
