My name is Sebastian Kraus; I was born in 1981 in Nowa Ruda, Poland where I grew up with my family and studied. Eventually I left Poland and now live in Scotland.
I am a landscape photographer and I am based in the beautiful historic city of Salisbury in Wiltshire. Once I started learning more about photography my interest in it grew so rapidly that I began reading everything that I could get my hands on. I quickly realized that this was an art form that would enable me to express my innermost feelings about the world that I am merely just a part of.
I started with really no experience at all in 2006 with a Fuji Fine Pix S9500 and since then I have been hooked. So much so that I believe my passion is evident in my photographs which have more recently been published in magazines and even exhibited around the world.
I capture images that are literally just moments passing in time and I truly love the subjects that I photograph. If the camera has taught me only one thing about nature, it is that it holds so very much more than is first apparent to the naked eye.
