No matter where you point your lens, I believe that you are essentially taking a self portrait. I am an Indianapolis-based photographer who's passion is Street Photography and Urban Decay. To me, there us an undeniable beauty to Street Photography. I find the people, architecture and daily city life fascinating. I find beauty and interest in that which is not typically considered beautiful. Maybe it's the reality of the dilapidated that I appreciate. When I look at an old building, I can see in my mind what it must have been like in it's time. There is a certain sadness of decay that drives me to shoot these subjects. To shoot photographs that create an emotion is the ultimate goal. What I love most about photography is how it has changed the way I see the world. Every photographer I have ever talked to feels the same way. Before I discovered photography, I was blind.
