Kyle Stanley’s journey into the Art of Photography began at the early age of 13 while attending the wedding of his uncle John Sutherland. John handed Kyle Stanley his Cannon F1 35mm film camera, Quickly explained the basic controls and said, "take as many photos as you can." Kyle Stanley was in this way first introduced into photography. Kyle had wondered so long how those photographs turned out until having the chance to view them on display at his uncle Steve Sutherland's wake in October 2012. Having borrowed his friend Mike Daffrons’ Digital camera in 1998, an HP Photosmart 315, Kyle went to a local fair grounds to take photos of the amusement rides. Upon doing so Kyle was sure that if he had to have one job in the world it would be Photography. Well if it paid as well as contracting and consulting for the US Government this is what Kyle would be doing full time. In 2008 Kyle Stanley opened his first studio and practiced photography full time. Having gained experience in Portraiture, Fashion, product and Wedding Photography. Kyle was living his lifetime dream of full time photography. Earning the full time contract from 2 High Schools for coverage of all events, Graduation and staff Photographs Kyle Stanley was gaining a solid foundation for a successful business. In 2009 Kyle Stanley was again employed by the US Government and stationed in Kuwait. While there, Kyle continued his passion for Photography. Kyle Stanley took Photographs for the World Rally Car international Championship race events held in Kuwait, the Red Bull Drift Car Challenges, Kuwait Horse Racing events, the Kuwiat international Veterinary Hospital and various local businesses. In May of 2012 Kyle Organized and conducted the Kuwait Photowalk with great success having more the 92 participants from more then 24 different nationalities. The first Photography seminar conducted by Kyle with 12 students from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds. was held in March of 2012 and since then he has helped students from more then 32 countries to improve and discover there own passion for Photography. In July of 2012 Kyle Stanley Organized and co conducted a Wedding Seminar with more then 40 participants from various backgrounds and nationalities. The continued growth with the social media of todays world will spread the sharing of Art and Photography across the world. will require an open minded and well rounded Photographer and instructor which Kyle Stanley has become. Our close family Friend Gary Berman, a professional photographer for the University of Minnesota, took my high school graduation photographs and gave Kyle an insight into the business side of Photography. Roger Engvik, Kyle’s great uncle from Aalesund, More Og Romsdal, Norway now retired after 52 years as senior staff Photographer Sunnmorsposten.
