“To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.” ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson, My passion for photography began in high school when I purchased my first "real" camera. I meandered around the world of hobby photography for quite a few years, but in 2009, I decided to get serious about my craft and went digital with my trusty Canon XSI/450D. Other than taking 2 basic classes (1 film, 1 digital) at the local community college, I'm self-taught for the time being, and having a tremendous time exploring the different photographic genres in search of my "niche." Each step of my journey further validates my belief that there is beauty to be found with every blink of the eye. The way I see it, God creates the moment and blesses me with the opportunity to capture it. The 500px community is extremely inspirational & I'm overwhelmed by the support I've gotten from so many wonderfully talented photographers. Comments and critique are always welcome.
