I am a father of two, who is a paramedic (the job that pays best) and also a photographer.
I have been a paramedic for 10 years and a paid semi professional photographer for around 2.
I am currently in my final year studying for a degree in lens based media at Harrogate College. I decided to expand my knowledge of photography as I want to reduce my hours as a paramedic and increase my hours as a photographer. I am very lucky as I love both aspects of my working life equally and both aspects are equally rewarding.
There is a history of photography in my family, both of my grandfathers used to be keen amateur photographers. I have recently been lucky enough to adopt my Grandfather’s 60 year old Roliflex camera, which my dad found in his loft. I have started using it and intend to put it to further great use in the future.
