Mark is a professional photographer based in Bromley, Kent.

He specialises in studio and outdoor portraiture, weddings, actor/actress headshots and baby/family portraits. Shoots can be either in the studio (Bromley town centre) or at a location of your choice be that you own home or a local park or woodland for example.

Mark's ethos is always to have fun first and foremost as he believes this helps create a more relaxed and natural environment for the photography. When photographing babies and young children the shoot will not usually be longer than 1 hour to ensure the young ones don't get bored or tired.

Amy May

Published March 27th, 2012

Just happened to pass by Starbucks at Camden Lock today during my lunch break and what a treat. Amy May was just setting up to play a live set. I hung around for as long as I could, listening to the amazing voice and also aware that the clock was ticking and I had to be back in the office for 2pm.

Took a few shots which I've posted here (slight desaturation during post in case you're wondering where the colour has gone !) but would have absolutely loved to stop and listen to the whole set, pick up a CD and maybe even have a chat ... will have to keep an eye on tour dates etc. and hopefully catch more of Amy in the future.

Air City

Published March 24th, 2012

Today in Bromley Hunter Gatherers (www.hunter-gatherers.co.uk) staged an event called the Air City Event as part of a consultancy process with Bromley Council to establish what the local public think of their town, what they like, dislike etc.

This is all going into a mixing pot and will help inform developers design and decision making processes as the regeneration plans for the area are drawn up.

Check them out on their website at http://www.hunter-gatherers.co.uk or their tumblr http://hunter-gatherers.tumblr.com/

Stunning, colourful and fun ... looking forward to seeing that mirrored container at the end of East Street in a week...

War Games

Published March 11th, 2012

Spent yesterday morning in some woodland near Sidcup in Kent at Combat Laser Games (http://www.combatlasergames.com/) photographing Harrisons 6th birthday party ... this is a no contact version (i.e. lasers) of paint ball and the kid's had a superb time and came away very very tired.

Images were processed using the Bleech Bypass effect to give the look and feel of a war movie ala HBO mini series Band of Brothers and the Steven Speilberg movie Saving Private Ryan
