HI I'm Marlene, I have discovered that I am a Jill of all trades and a master of none, however…
I have a passion for quite a few things, PHOTOGRAPHY is obviously one, I love children and what they are all about, so I TEACH (between jobs at the moment as we, that's me and my best half, relocated from Nelson to Waiheke Island, New Zealand, that is). I have worked as a part time ARTIST and have a LOTTO dream 'I want to design and develop a children's art/photography school and gallery on the Island'. Oh well, I'll keep on dreaming!! Last but by far not the least, I simplyI adore my family and hence the reason for us relocating this year.
I bought my first camera, CANON 60D in 2012 and literally go nowhere without it! I would like to specialize in people & portrait photography, but I photograph anything that catches my eye. The most exciting part of photography is the editing. I work on Lightroom and have just bought Photoshop CS6 (still have to install it and learn how to use it!) I believe in Julius Shulman's saying, 'The camera is the least important element in Photography'.
I see everything through the lens of my camera, going to drive my family insane, but you only live once and I'm going for it!
