I was born in Hammersmith London in the 1960's and have lived most of his life in Kent. I struggled at school due to my severe dyslexia but found Art and Photography a welcome release. Relocation 8 years ago has brought me to the North West of England where I find a never ending source of material for my landscape photography. My journey through photography has been over 30 years using mostly film, but most recently I prefer the freedom and flexibility of the digital medium. I use Nikon Pro equipment which enables me to produce high quality images. I have also started using the Fuji X Series of cameras and lenses. I have a continually updated catalogue of stock photography images which are represented by Getty, Shutterstock & Alamy. In 2009 my entry in the ‘Landscape’ category of the Digital Photographer Of The Year Competition was considered for short listing progressing in 2010 with another landscape image which was shortlisted in the ‘Britain Inspired’ category. I love life and want to experience everything it has to offer. I aim to achieve the perfect work life balance, so that I can experience the world we live in, and the people around the world. In the process of travelling I like to record my experiences through the lens of my camera to share with the world. Due to the fact that for many years I have used black and white film, I am trying to explore the black and white side of digital photography, using modern techniques to get depth and tone in to my images as I used to do with film but with my own unique twist.
