I've been doing photography as a hobby for the last 35 years. Initially, I mostly did astronomical photography. Being born in Charlevoix (Québec, Canada) between the majestic St-Laurence River, the mountains and the sky, the choice was easy for me: I will study Nature. And so I did. A few years later, I left the University with a Ph.D. in astrophysics. Pictures of the sky? A lot I did. But the images of my youth's landscapes were always coming back, and I got increasingly interested in landscapes photography. Acquiring a digital camera accelerated my visual exploration. I got interested in color studies, then in geometry... finally I discovered miksang photography. Today, I mix these styles and I just follow my heart. This is what you will see here: A vision of Nature through my eyes, from my inner side.
I am constantly overwhelmed by the paradoxes of nature: it's infinite complexity and it's desarming simplicity, the total importance and the absolute insignificance of everything.
And we are right in the middle, we are part of these paradoxes.
Welcome to my world!
