Mike is a New England photographer specializing in landscapes. His images exude a sense of tranquility, mystery, and simplicity. These purposeful attributes are embodied in his business motto, "Serenity in Landscapes". His favorite New England destinations include the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Green Mountains of Vermont, Acadia National Park, the Coast of Maine, Cape Cod, and Narragansett Bay. In addition, Mike travels far and wide to capture subjects inaccessible from his home base. Consequently, his passion for photography spans across the Colorado Plateau, down to the Southern Appalachian Mountains, and over to northern of Europe. Mike aims to capture nature at its best. For this reason, he prefers to photograph at sunrise, sunset, and twilight, as the shoulder hours tend to yield more drama. He is also passionate about night photography, perpetually in search of bright stars, a colorful Milky Way, and concentric star trails. In addition, he enjoys infrared photography -- an artistic medium that permits him to photograph in bright light when color photography is least desirable. Before turning to landscape photography, Mike enjoyed a long career in the computer software industry. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife Anita, in close proximity to their immediate family.
