Over the past twenty plus years, experiencing nature and photographing her beauty has been my form of relaxation and spiritual fulfillment. I am continually drawn to the beauty of the mountains, deserts, wildlife and wide open expanses of the American West. I am largely self-taught in the photographic arts. I have learned by reading articles, viewing images of other photographers and learning from their craft has also has been part of my self taught education. I have found the best teacher of all though to be experience, and shooting on a consistent basis. As I began shooting with film, photography was only a hobby. With the arrival of digital cameras, photography has become a passion. I carry my camera wherever I go in hopes to capture that perfect moment!
