Nelson Pereira is a freelance photographer born in Portugal but currently working and living in London. He has always been interested in photography and started devoting more time and effort approximately 2 years ago. While he started mainly doing travel images he has since been involved in many projects and covered a number of major news events both in the UK and abroad, such as the student demonstrations, the Popes visit to the UK and the Venice Carnival in Italy. He has also collaborated with other photographers to create a photographic book depicting the student demonstrations in 2010/2011. He is currently expanding his portfolio and looking to do some studio and event photography.
