Specializing in digital photography and post processing, Nuno began his career in digital graphic design. Through design work, the use of stock imagery became necessary and this was the initial glimpse that soon ignited a passion in digital photography. With his background in graphic design and his extensive Photoshop skills he was quickly able to grasp the concepts of digital photography and the technical skills required to become a successful stock photographer himself. Due to stock photography’s very high technical standard, it is now the baseline for all of Nuno’s work. After several years shooting almost exclusively stock photography, Nuno began expanding his portfolio into more artistic and creative outlets. With these experiences – commercial contracts, individual commissions and other requests soon followed. Published in dozens of countries around the globe, traveling throughout Europe and North America for photo assignments, and collaborating with other international talent, Nuno Silva has established himself as a sought after professional photographer.
