Hello. My name is Niyazi and I live in İstanbul, Türkiye. I try to take different subject, as often as I can and these will usually be captured in Istanbul. Istanbul is an old old city, you can see the remains of many ancient civilizations and their culture in harmony with Turkish culture. The old versus the new, the traditional versus the modern is a conflict a visitor often observes. The city is full of contrasts, and colorful views. Straddling the Bosphorus, its skyline studded with domes and minarets, İstanbul is one of the truly great romantic cities. Its history tracks back from Byzantium to Constantinople to its place at the head of the Ottoman Empire. So Istanbul is a wonderful and inspiring city for a photograph and for a photographer.
