I started taking photography seriously only about a year ago. Before that I only did it as a hobby. Once I started getting recognition from online communities I dropped my "point-and-shoot" and got my first DSLR. I am a firm believer than anyone can succeed at what they do regardless of a lack of education, funding, support, time or whatever other excuses people make to limit themselves.
